Privacy at a glance
Audio is private to your account. When you create a project, the file uploads to a Supabase Storage bucket scoped to your user. Row-level security blocks every other user from listing, reading, or fetching it - even if they guess the key.
What we hold long-term: project metadata, the timing JSON, line locks, project settings, and the original audio file as long as the project exists. A few KB per song plus the audio file you uploaded.
What we don't hold: vocal stems or transcription output. Those are ephemeral artifacts of the alignment worker and are discarded once the JSON timings are written back.
What deletion removes: hitting delete on a project drops both the row and the audio object. Deleting your account fires a webhook that cascades the same cleanup across everything you own.
Account data:email, name (optional), Stripe customer ID, plan, sign-in timestamps. That's it.
Cookies:only what's needed to keep you signed in. No third-party analytics, no advertising trackers, no fingerprinting.
Terms of service, short version
You own everything you upload and everything you produce with Pinline. We don't claim any rights to your music or your lyrics.
Don't use Pinline to align lyrics you don't have the right to publish. This includes copyrighted lyrics you haven't licensed and lyrics that violate someone else's rights.
Don't try to abuse the alignment infrastructure (intentional flooding, scraping, automated abuse). Reasonable use is fine.
We can suspend an account that violates these terms. We'll email you first if it's recoverable, refund the remaining time on your plan if it isn't.
Pinline is provided "as is." We try hard to keep it working, but we don't promise zero downtime. If something is broken for you, email support and we'll fix it.
Subscriptions and refunds
Plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Upgrade or downgrade anytime in your account settings.
Refunds within 14 days, no questions asked. Email support@pinline.app with the charge details.
If you cancel, your account stays on the paid plan until the period ends, then drops to Free. Over-limit projects are archived for 30 days so you can re-export them.
Data deletion
Delete your account anytime from the account page. When you do, a webhook fires that removes every project row and every audio file we have for you. There's no soft-delete window - it's gone the moment it lands.
For data export requests, or requests under GDPR, CCPA, or similar, email privacy@pinline.app. We respond within 14 days.
